As the most influential international academic event in the field of peanut science and technology, the AAGB conference series has been driving global collaboration in peanut research and industrial innovation since its inaugural meeting in 2006, initiated by the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GDAAS). Over the years, the conference has been successfully held across multiple continents, including the United States, India, Mali, Australia, Brazil, China, Argentina, and Senegal, fostering worldwide scientific exchange and partnerships .
In November 2026, the 14th AAGB conference will return to its birthplace—Guangzhou, China—and will be hosted once again by the Crop Research Institute of GDAAS. This milestone event marks the fourth time the conference has been held in China and symbolizes a meaningful homecoming after two decades of global expansion.
The conference will bring together over 300 experts and scholars from more than 30 countries, facilitating high-level academic dialogue through keynote speeches, parallel sessions, poster presentations, and other interactive formats. This platform aims to accelerate cross-disciplinary collaboration and the translation of innovative research into practical applications, ultimately contributing to a sustainable future for the global peanut industry .
